Rain Harvesting

Although relatively new to South Africa, this industry is growing fast in the footsteps of Australia, Europe and the United States where it has been implemented for the past two decades.  Forgive us if we have learned from their experience rather than trying to reinvent the wheel.  With hundreds of residential installations having been completed, we have also installed systems for large scale industrial clients  in an effort to save both money and the environment.  Below is the story in pictures.

A large 30kL heavy duty underground water tank being installed for collection of rain water to be used for irrigation.

20 000 litres storage tanks installed at the lower end of a residential garden where the water is used for irrigation.

A 60kL underground water chamber being installed for use as irrigation water and indoor use.

Industrial rainheads capable of filtering up to 20 litres per second from a large roof area and piping it underground.

A domestic rain head collecting and filtering water from a down pipe and directing water below ground to be piped to storage tanks.

A very popular retro style steel water tank collecting water directly from a roof down pipe to be used for irrigation.
